Outing on Gorilla Trekking Expedition in Uganda or Rwanda
Going on safari has always been one of our favorite things to do. Be it wildlife safaris, Uganda primate safaris or 1 Day Volcano gorilla safari, book with Active African vacations limited, an agency that provide tailor-made, self drive safaris in Uganda but with pocket friendly price. On our Uganda safari expedition we had in may 2013 with our prominent agent Active African vacation, allocated us a very knowledgeable guide, Billy that made our safari unforgettable, Billy could explain Uganda tourism resources than no any other person can do perfectly like him. We begun our expedition from Murchison falls National Park and from here we managed to spot all the big five, for our day one to Murchison falls we had a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and we experienced the Rhino tracking and after we had our African cuisine lunch. Thereafter we had to proceed to the park experiencing the top of the falls, where you can experience the great river flow through the marvels’ gorge of the rocks and while from this point you may fail to leave and it is sightseeing water fall among others that make Uganda the pearl of Africa!
Murchison falls being located in the north western Uganda, spreading inland from the shore of Lake Albert around the Victoria Nile, it has got a variety of wildlife species that we spotted on our dawn game drive and among them are the lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, giraffes, warthogs, topi, oribi, water and bush bucks and enjoying some of nature’s most stunning bird life species. Then the amazing boat cruise seem so joyous and happy exciting view of fall and wildlife along the shores of the River, with the knowledgeable park boat cruise guide so from Active African Vacations to park guides we had first hand information about the beauty of Uganda.
The prides of lions roam the Savannah, hunting for food and sleeping more than two thirds of the day. The African Savannah is a truly wonderful place, and safari is a truly amazing way to explore it, enjoy it, and almost become a part of it. I really do recommend it to anybody who desires to do any of these things. Going on safari can be revitalizing, and it is one of the most fun things I have ever done. There will be amazing nature anywhere, and you will be able to revel in the natural world.
Then our cross to the Kibale forest we had to take en-route visit to the rift valley escarpments and from this point Billy our guide was typically educating us, and again we had the fabled view of mountain Rwenzori and later we had short cultural stop at the Karambi Tombs a burial ground of the Kings of Toro, then from our agent advise we had our overnight stay at Kyaninga lodge and this home a way home in the wilderness of Uganda, the lodge has clear view of nearby crater Lakes that provide conducive environment to relax in real luxury Kyaninga lodge.
Then the following day we had to search for the chimps in Kibale forest National Park or Nyungwe Forest National Park and amazingly we spotted them and much more primates like the white and black Columbus and the birds, and after our lunch we visited the Kibale forest Bigodi rural association where we spent the rest of the day participating in the community tourism activities like the mart and basket weaving, local meals preparing, farming among others. Therefore I recommend other traveler to Billy, Active African Vacations and the safari package as well to other travelers.
